Trip --April 23-29, 2019
First timers at bill fishing, but what a great adventure fishing Jaco, Costa Rica with Captains Mike and Mike Jr.
First, let me thank both Captains for a fantastic fishing trip. If you have dreams of landing a bill fish, then this trip is worthy of your attention.
My wife and I are novice bill fisherman, and we highly recommend booking this trip. You will experience Costa Rica both from the land and sea. Besides fishing, we also enjoyed an ATV tour which explored the picturesque vistas, deep valleys, forded fast moving streams and rested and had lunch by a gentle waterfalls. Wet and dirty awaits this choice. Did not do the Zip line. Maybe next trip.
Fishing--- We landed 3 sailfish, a Mahi, and a Spanish Mackerel. These fish know how to fight!!!!
Meals----All meals were excellent. You will not lose weight on this trip. Light morning eats, lunch on the boats, and evening meals (depending on the catch of the day and then prepared by our Captains) were delicious. P.S----All meals were devoured by those in attendance.
Accommodations----- grade is an (A) But lets agree, nothing is better than your own bed. We had a queen size bed and our own private shower. Bedroom had a glass sliding door that provided a view of Jaco with an occasional glimpse of some flying Macaws, and sometimes we had a quick view of our reclusive Iguana.
Fishing Boats-------- Large or smaller boats, all have the tackle, mates,and captain's knowledge that is needed for a successful trip. These boats are equipped to land fish and also cater to the hungry anglers.
Summation------- Overall rating is (A +) SO, Set your hooks for an amazing Pacific Ocean fishing adventure and bring back some wonderful memories that will last your lifetime.

Captains Mike Sr. and Mike Jr. did a great job and were thorough in every detail from transportation, accommodations, boats, crews and meals.
As an experienced offshore angler, I know how exceptional a two-day tally of 7 sails and 1 blue marlin is. Our day 2 tally alone would have placed us in the top 5 boats of the local tournament.
I can’t wait to see what you put together with all the knowledge you gained from your maiden effort.
